Happy New Year

It is a new year 2013 and Wow a lot of things are happening.. It is going to be one exiting year!! This year I will be sharing exclusive images on my blog and website that are not posted on any other site. As well as all my news as it happens!! I started this blog to share stories of a Petite Model in a tall world and it has turned into much more. Petite modeling, new model advice as well as just stories from my own shoots and experiences and life experience.

In life experience department I want to talk about contests.. I just finished a contest and as many of you know I don't do many of them. and as many of you know I didn't win this last one..This isn't a oh poor me post it is a valuable lesson post.. I didn't win the prize I thought I was after. I did however win a better prize. The one of knowing who I can count on. Who actually wants to be in my network and who I should support in the future.. It was absolutely eye opening to see the out poor of support from places I had no idea about!! I am truly thankful for everything this experience has given me. It has shown me what is really important (in case I lost track) it has refocused me on me and improving me.. Which in life is the only thing you have control of.. It has re-affirmed my core beliefs and will allow me to pursue my dreams with more gusto.. So Thanks for the experience.. and for all of the help support and friendship stay tuned for the rest of 2013...... and remember Petite Girls Rock!!!!!!

Tis the season....Christmas Greeting to All

Thanksgiving Day is over and we are full force into the Christmas Holiday Season!! This is one of my favorite times of year. Everything about it brings a smile to my face and warmth in my heart!! It is also the time of the year I look back on all of the things that have happen in the past year. I am so thankful for all of the amazing people I have met, worked with, talked to, connected with from all the areas of my life. You all truly make everyday special for me. Thanks you all!! I hope each and everyone has an amazing holiday season!!! Enjoy your events, family and friends and be ready for an Amazing NEW YEAR!!!!

Heading into the Holiday Season!!

Turkey day is almost here and the eating frenzy we all call the holiday season is about to start. I thought it was a great time to post some friendly reminders that will help you enjoy your times while staying shoot ready at all times....

First take a moment and look at your normal eating habits and exercise routines. This time of year scheduling a little extra time in the gym helps to off set that piece of pumpkin pie!! After you know what is normal for you you might want to substitue some healthier ever day choices saving those calories for something special during the season some of the things I do is below

• I try and eat six small meals always incorporating protein with my carbs to keep me full longer. 
• Remember to always drink plenty of water and stay away from artificial sweeteners
• keep snacks handy so when you are hungry you have something with you (almonds work really well)
• Make working out a priority.. I schedule it on my daily plan to make sure I get it in.
• Choose lower calorie alcoholic beverages like vodka and club soda or Champagne (dry) or maybe just plain club soda for every other drink!!

Following these simple steps will help keep you ready for the added jobs that always come in and it will also keep your energy up for the added fun during this time. Save you splurges for things that you truly don't eat any other time of the year!! You will be happy you did..

Stay happy and healthy and with a little attention during this time of year you will stay ready and fit for the new year showing the world that.....Petite Girls Rock!!!!!

News and what is new

The biggest news is the Super storm.. As many know I have many friends and family in the area.. This is a small beach community in south central NJ.. Very sad to see the destruction. Everyone is in my thoughts!!! It is an awesome community and I know they/we will rebuild and be even better. In the mean time lets us all remember happier days!!

On the modeling front lots of projects events and travel have been happening.. A shoot I did around Halloween some images below

Looking back on the year so far

Wow October is almost half over and soon the holiday's will be here. I looking toward the end of the year. I always like to re-visit my goals for the year and see where I am verse where I wanted to be.

I wanted to travel more and this year I have been to Washington State, California (northern and southern) NYC, Ohio, Tennessee, Arkansas. Kentucky, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Montreal Canada, Florida, Wisconsin,

It has been amazing working with and meeting so many awesome people from photographers and makeup artists. Stylists and Directors. I can't thank all of you enough for all the great images and opportunities. I am looking forward to adding to my list during the balance of the year and re-visiting some of the cities I have been.

The real important Beauty secrets

Beauty what is it really is is a physical attribute.. possibly..is it to have the perfect body....could be the dictionary says:

beau·ti·ful/ˈbyo͞otəfəl/

Adjective:

Pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically. Of a very high standard; excellent.

I like to think that High Standards and excellence is more important than aesthetically pleasing.  Not that being aesthetically pleasing is a bad thing it just isn't everything.. It is who you are as a person that will make you a beauty for ever. Inside beauty never fades it only grows more transparent in time! So what is inside beauty and how do we develop our own version.. To me inside beauty is treating others the way you want to be treated with dignity and respect. It is not to be jealous or manipulative of others for your own good. Lets face it we are all faced with those opportunities and short term it seems to get you some satisfaction but long term you loose yourself.. You loose your true beauty and soon exterior beauty follows.  So This weeks goal is to work on our inner beauty.. let it shine and glow and show the world that......Petite Girls Rock!!!!!!
