It's the Start Holiday Season

We made it through Thanksgiving and I hope you all survived the food feast followed by the shopping frenzy. It was crazy this year with all the stores opening up even earlier and the people were crazy!! I managed to get out for a little while to search out some deals. It has been a tradition for me since I was a young girl!

It was exciting weekend for my career this weekend as well!! I have a new feature in the House of Styles Magazine. http://www.houseofstylemag.com/  it is on page 20! Thanks so much House of Styles Magazine for including me! I am finishing up the year with a busy schedule of shoots and some travel. Keep connected with me on my FB page for all the updates and newest images!! It seems to be the time of year that plans change fast!!  https://www.facebook.com/theworldofjax.

Thanksgiving Week

Wow Thanksgiving 2011 is in just a few days. This year has just flown by! It is time to think about holiday fashion. This year it is all about the glitz and glamor of the season. I just love it. The sequins the sparkle and the bold and beautiful makeup!! For all of us petite girls we need to know how to modify the styles for our frames. I like to stick with solid colors and smaller sequins not to overwhelm me. I also prefer to wear either short or floor length dresses, both help to make the most of our bodies. When looking at shoes I love the higher platform styles. The platform shoe gives me that little extra height without being uncomfortable to wear for longer periods of time because your foot isn't at a drastic angle. Taking a look at the makeup it is time to sport a darker lip and eye makeup as well as full hair. Yeah for glamorous times ahead. Go out and sparkle with style and remember.....Petite Girls Rock!!!

Changing of the clocks and Seasons

This weekend was the time of year that we changed our clocks. Fall back! We all gained an hour of sleep. Some really look forward to that however for me I just woke up to early. I do have to say it is nice to be able to leave for the day in the daylight.

It also signifies to me the start of winter (even if the calendar disagrees). I am looking forward to the holiday's and celebrations with family and friends.  Most of the celebrations include lots of food and drinks. It is a time if we aren't careful that our food intake can go up and our energy level can go down. It is more important than ever to continue your healthy lifestyle with regular exercise and planned food choices.  No on wants to have extra pounds by the end of the season. I try to get in extra aerobic exercise  and the Sexercise tape is an awesome and fun way to do that. If you are looking at working toward a healthy lifestyle check out www.ILoveSeXercise.com and let this program help you through the pitfalls of the holiday season.

In the fashion forecast for these celebrations it is all about sparkles and Glam. Love the looks that they are showing this year and I love the ones I was privileged to model during my Red Paris shoot. Check out the line at www.redparisusa.net.
