New Book Covers Since the beginning of the year!

Romance Novel Covers!!!! I am always so honored when someone chooses me to be on there masterpiece. I love being a romance novel model as it always me to combined my ability to act and model in one shoot. I also love attending book signings and conventions where I can meet the authors, reader and sometimes the cover artists.  I look forward to continuing in this industry for many years to come. I want to share with you the covers from January and Febuary 2015.

Thoughts and feelings

I look at this and try to do this everyday as best as I know how. I move through my life always trying to be the best me I can be. What are your thoughts. Do you consciously make an effort to improve who you are everyday? In this thought of creating what you want in your life by how you are is a powerful thing. It reminds us all that we are in control of our life and only we can create the life we want for ourselves. Our happiness is not dependent on anyone but ourselves.

This is very empowering and it is also sometimes a bit scary because with this power that we accept comes the inability to blame anyone else for us falling short of what we want to be in life. For so many of us it is the false reality that someone else controls who we are. That belief keeps us from being the best version of ourselves that we can be. It give us a helpless feeling that someone else controls who is happy in life. So untrue!!! No one has that ability but you and you can only effect yourself. Now by doing so people will react differently towards you. and how they act depends on how you are.

If you are not happy with your mirror only you can change that!!

Once I learned this for me my life completely changed. I learned that I have the power and that made me feel powerful. I started creating the world I wanted for me, regardless of what others said. I continue to do that and prefect this everyday. I am thrilled with where I am and where I am going. I am blessed to have creative, supportive people that surround me and I feel love towards them and from them everyday!! Thank you all and I can't wait to see where this journey goes.

 Everyday is a new begining for you to create a new you? What will you do with that today?

Happy New Year!

My First post of 2015 and I ran into this and found it to be perfect to remind us and start a new year!  I frequently get asked a lot of things about my career in modeling and acting but mostly how I seem to keep going and improving and finding work. Although I am not going to hand over clients to you, I can share with you some of the attributes I think keep you working and moving forward.

The above saying do what you say and say what you do even when you don't feel like it. You need to be the kind of person who can be depended on. Your reputation is everything and people need to be able to trust you. This goes a long way in creating that kind of respect and trust towards you.

Always show up on time and ready to work. You may think people don't notice but I am telling you for sure that I have never worked on a shoot where everyone involved didn't realize who walked in late. Although everyone was polite at the time. I assure you when it come time for re-booking the late person won't get hired. It is that simple and it also goes back to being the kind of person others can depend on.

Always come prepared. Know what is expected of you and be prepared to fill in for someone else just in case. You need to have things with you so you can such as makeup, hair things etc. I also think that most models should take a basic lighting class. I say this because I have on occasion  helped adjust there lighting so that we all look better. Lets face it it is you that people are seeing and you need to put the best you forward so knowing how to do that could help everyone.

Check your attitude at the door. I am always am amazed when I work in a group and someone gets the idea that they are better than the next person. That kind of attitude will leave your career short lived. No one likes working with a Diva. You need to be able to step up and be what  the director wants you to be, weather you want to or not. It isn't your decision. Respect everyone on set and they will in turn respect you.

Pay attention to you. Work towards making the best version of yourself possible. Not just externally but also internally as well. Beauty shines from within and that light attracts others to you.
  

Respect, dependability, trust and kindness are attributes that will serve you well in any career and in life.  We all need to  be that kind of person. I wish you all a very Happy, Healthy New Year! Keep moving towards you dreams and show the world that........PETITE GIRLS ROCK!!!

I wanted to Take a moment to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. I am blessed to have your encouragement, love and support.
