A small look inside.......

As many of you know I am not that comfortable talking about myself. Today I thought it appropriate to share a little about Me Jax the model. The writer of Petite Girls Rock. I hope in someway this will inspire others to follow the dream that is in their heart!!

A little background. I grew up in the Chicago metro area and I am the youngest of three children in my family. I have two older brothers who have always been amazing and talented and popular. I was a bit more shy growing up. I was always trying to blend in while inside wanting to burst out!. My secret dreams were always way bigger than me or at least my perception of me. I spent years wondering and worrying what others thought and adjusted my life to fit in. As you can imagine, that didn't work to well. It never does unless you are following your own heart!

In high school I had the opportunity to work with a life coach, who helped me realize that the only way to happiness is to follow your heart and create your own path. That anything is possible if your willing to work hard and put your whole heart into it. It took me a while to wrap my brain around this idea but when I finally did I felt such a freedom that I can't even put into words. I think it was the release of the chains that I put on myself to fit in. I became less concerned about other people's opinions and more concerned about following my dreams.

My Dreams where always to Model and be an Actress. I had some supporters and some who basically laughed. At this point it didn't matter to me. I have a dream and I am following it! I don't know where this dream will take me however I do know that I have only just begun. I am excited about the thoughts and opportunities that come each and every day! Life for me has never been the same since I have started to follow my own inner voice and heart!

So go out and follow your heart and listen to your inner voice and show the world that that you rock and.......Petite Girls Rock!!!!!!

Spring is around the corner

Winter is almost over and spring is around the corner. I love spring with all the new clothing and colors. This season it is bright and happy!! A perfect combination for the season as far as I am concerned!! The days are getting longer and more sunshine is always a good thing. It makes a huge difference in my feeling of well being and I can't help be notice optimism in everyone else.

Spring, the rebirth of our plants and our spirits. As everything starts to come alive it is a great time to take stock in our self too! Spring when all is new and fresh! What will be your new and fresh start? It is a great time to re-look at your plans and goals and adjust them. In my career it means new projects and films and it also means getting to work more on location!! I always look forward to that after spending so much time in the winter inside!!

Spring.. Push forward and come alive and show the world that......Petite Girls Rock!!!!

The Chicago Auto Show "First Look for Charity"

Last night's event was awesome. I had the opportunity to go to the First Look for Charity event at the Chicago Auto Show with  BGV Motorsports. What a greatevening!! Thanks to our friends at Clearbrook for inviting us!! Clearbrook is a outstanding organization creating opportunities for children with Autism. We are happy to help support them in there endeavors!

BGV Motor sports sponsor the Chicago All Wheel Show. We are looking forward to starting a new season of car shows in May. The event was very fun! A lot of food and drinks and of course some beautiful new cars. My show pick was a beautiful Jaguar convertible. Now to figure out how to make it mine!! Always good to have goals!

And another favorite of mine was the foot massage and slippers provided by Cadillac. What a wonderful way to finish an amazing night!!

It was just what we needed after walking the show and looking at all the new cars!! What a wonderful evening for Charity! Thanks again for including me.......A great event to show the world that BGV Sports and Petite Girls Rock!!

What an exciting weekend!!

Wow what a weekend!! I started out this weekend with attending a preview of "Roundabout America" which is the first full length feature film I have worked on. I am happy to report that it turned out awesome and I am thrilled to have a part it it. It was awesome to reconnect with all the talented people that worked on the film and to celebrate the results. It that wasn't enough for one girl during one weekend My cover and 8 page spread for Flip Magazine came out on Sunday! Wow!! It is exciting to have had the privilege to work with Flip Magazine and a most talented team on my last trip to LA. They are all awesome an I was honored to work with each and everyone of them!! The Superbowl.....Wow that was a very exciting ending to a game. It was a back and forth game and as you know the Giants pulled it out in the end. It was down to the last seconds of the game before we could declare a winner. How exciting is that!! A perfect ending to a very exciting weekend!!

I am blessed and thankful for all of the wonderful support and opportunities that I have and for all the people that know.........Petite Girls Rock!!!
