Keeping busy and going strong

Being a petite model has its challenges so keeping busy is important. It is also important to pursue all areas of modeling. Lets face it. Not everyone want to work with petite models so we all need to give them reason to ignore our height. I try and do that by taking on new challenges and not limiting myself to one area of modeling. This helps expose me to many different areas of the business and show that I am constantly pushing forward. I have been lucky enough to secure a small part in a feature film Round about America which will shoot in July. Again continuing to take on new challenges and open up more doors. I know the future continues to brighten for petite models and I am so excited to be on the cutting edge of these changes. I again appreciate all the people that have worked with me and helped me so far and hope to continue with this forward progress. Stay strong, stay focused and stay beautiful because...Petite Girls Rock!!!!!

Happy Summer!

Wow, I can't believe it is the first day of summer. I think this is my favorite season!! I can't wait to be able to spend some time on the Jersey Shore later this summer. When thinking of spending more time outside I want to take a moment to remind everyone to be safe and smart when out in the sun. In reflection spring was very busy and I ended it with a bang. Last weekend Workshop with Jim Jurica went amazing and it was great to work with and meet all of the people that came. I think we all learned so much and had a great time in the process. Thanks again to everyone and especially Jim!!

The beginning of Summer is also a busy time for my modeling. I am spending the first three days of summer out in San Francisco working with Bill Lemon. He is an awesome photographer that has several books to his credit. I am so excited to be able to shoot with Bill again. I am also planning on modeling for his up comming workshop in CA in early fall. In addition to several other shoots scheduled and promotional jobs, I will also be filming a movie in Chicago later this month. I am so excited to expand into films and I am happy that this is my first featured film where I have a speaking part.

Summer!!!! You have to also love the great new fashions and the best place to see what works best for all of us petite girls is Bella Petite (http://www.bellapetite.com/) they continue to lead the way for fashion and tips ideas for petites and the only publication to promote petite fashion modeling as well. I love the fact that we are not alone in this and they help me everyday to expand my opportunities. They know what we all do that Petite Girls Rock~~~~ 

The Petite wave is building

It is such and exciting time for petite models and petite's in general!! I have been noticing that more and more work is becoming available without height restrictions. I think the wave started by Bella Petite and helped by so many of us is really starting to build!! Yeah real hope for the average women of the world. Keep it going!!

Personally I have a lot of things going on and love being able to work in a variety of modeling and acting areas. I had two awesome shoots this past weekend and have put new images from them up on my FB page!! Check it out!! I am also still in the running for the Face Variani contest so please keep supporting me so we can help each other build this petite wave into a tsunami!! Jax's updates

Wow busy, busy, busy!! and I couldn't be happier about it. I just got back from an awesome trip to NYC and let me tell you the City that doesn't sleep also means you don't either....but I love it!!! Had some great meetings and an awesome shoot and back to Sweet Home Chicago!!. I loved my visit to NY and hope to be making many more.

Back In Chicago and preparing for several shoots and workshops!! Friday I have a location shoot for a magazine and Saturday another shoot as well! On June 18th I will be modeling for Jim Juric's lighting workshop and can't wait to see everyone there !!

It is exciting times for my modeling and for petite models in general as more and more people agree that.....Petite Girls Rock!!!!

Fashion-Modeling and being Petite

As we all know not many fashion runway models in the petite category!! Lets all join together and Join Bella Petite campaign to change that. They posted an interesting article today about Twiggy, famous fashion model. Who started her career as a model and not as a celebrity turned model. Very inspiring. ( http://www.bellapetite.com) check it out. I have been fortunate lately to work with some awesome photographers and companies that see past height!! Yeah for them. My most recent shoot was in Kansas City where I shot with the awesome Eli's Photography!! The shoot was awesome!! I look forward to working with them more!! This week I am off to the big apple and I am very excited about the opportunities there that await me. I have shoots scheduled in both fashion and beauty work!! I am so excited to continue to meet and work with so many industry professionals that agree..Petite Girls Rock!!!!!

Summer is here!!!

Wow summer is here and I hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday weekend!! I had a busy one and a lot of things have been happening with me and modeling. This is the season of new and I have a lot of new things happen over the weekend!! I am working with Jim Jurica on his new Workshop!! I had a new feature come out on Glammodelz and a new partnership as one of The Model Closet Girls. I am very excited about all of these new opportunities and can't thank everyone involved enough. I am excited because more and more people connected with the modeling industry are providing opportunities based on abilities and not height. AWESOME news for all of us petite girls.  It is truly an exciting time because.....Petite Girls Rock!!!!

Happy Memorial Day

Wow the beginning of summer and for me it is taking of quickly!! It started at the Onion Crunch booth at the American Restaurant show (thanks again Bella Petite for setting that up).  I than quickly move to  my 30th shoot with Jim Jurica where we worked on content for his lighting workshop book!! (Info at www.jimjurica.com)  Today I was able to kick off the holiday weekend co-hosting the Scott Alan Radio Show on AM 1530 in Chicago!! It was awesome that so many people called in!! I hope to be on again in the very near future!!!!

 While you are enjoying your BBQ's and Party's, Let's also remember all the soldiers that are serving and have served our great country who have died or been injured protecting our freedom and keeping us safe.
