911 Where were you 11 years ago

Where were you on 9/11.. I was a grade school child put into lock down. That is when no one can enter the school and no one can leave the school all the classroom doors have to be closed and the window blinds and window are closed. You stay in one room and basically just sit there...

 I was very confused I really just wanted to go home they showed some of the news reports which was even more confusing and I was worried about my family (some live in NY, NJ and PA) I wondered when I could go home. and if I had a home to go to.. I know that many of you have your own stories but I can never forget that feeling that my life and my country has changed forever. That naive innocence was gone for ever. We were at War and I didn't really know how that was going to feel and it scared me.

I remember that when they finally they released us from school and I was never so glad to be home. As a family we sat and watched in complete disbelief that this had all happened and waited to hear what was next. Although it was still a frightening  time I was so thankful to be with my parents. Safe at least for the moment. What a senseless tragedy that has shaken our country to the core. I was angry and sad, relieved to hear about my loved ones and horrified to hear about others. I have visited the 9/11 site in NYC several  times since that day and every time I am flooded with emotion and also pride. I am proud of our country and I am proud to be an American.. I hold close our values and our spirit everyday when pursing my own passions and dreams. That is what keeps me pushing forward and showing the world that.......Petite Girls Rock!!!

The ending of summer finished up strong and I couldn't be happier with my awesome shoot for Jolie Toi

This past weekend found me busy with commercial projects and portfolio shoots. Unfortunately no images from my commercial work yet (can't post until they are public) but here is one from a shoot I did on Sunday with Ron Cash. I have worked with Ron several times but it had been awhile and it was great to work with him again!!

Now that we are on the cusp of a new season I look forward to many new projects that are scheduled and all opportunities that may come up.. It is an exciting time of year with all the new fashion out and all the new trends.. I am hoping to shoot some of them shortly and can't wait to share them with you all. Keep your plans moving forward and show the world that.......Petite Girls Rock!!!!!

Summer is coming to and end!!!

 I am finishing the summer season up strong with a lot of work this past week and even more coming up.  I had an awesome shoot to update some head shots. A much needed shoot!! Thanks so much Jim for your help with this!!!

 Keeping up to date natural images on hand is a necessity for every model and actress.  If you haven't already updated your work this is a good time to do it!! This way you are always prepared to show everyone that........Petite Girls Rock!!!!

Trips, Trips and more Trips

Last weeks trip to San Francisco went AWESOME.. That is a beautiful area of the country with so many awesome locations for shoots!!!. This has been my third trip out there and I can't wait to have more opportunities to travel that area again and see more of the city.... It was a fast trip but very productive and always great to work with my friend Bill !! Here is an image  that we got during our shoot!!

Finishing up summer break strong....

It has been a crazy few months and now the middle of August means my summer break is almost over!!  I have had and continue to have a schedule that finds me out of town sometime every week. I love that I get to see different parts of the country and get to meet all sorts of interesting people. I am truly blessed to be living my dream!!!! Last week I had the opportunity to shoot in Memphis with an old friend Jerry Coleman and met some new ones too!! here is a shot from my shoot with Jerry for Swim Rags.

This week I am off to San Francisco area. Looking forward to this trip and working with my friend and Photographer Bill Lemon. His work is outstanding and I can't wait to be able to share it with you when I get back !!
The end of the month brings the last of the BGV car shows. Life on the road continued!!

Week 3 of my trip and this week was a Busy but awesome week :) had a great shoot with EMK Phot 1 in NYC on probably one of the hottest days of the year. It was almost unbearably  hot but somehow we made it through and we got some amazing images. He shared this preview with me so I would love to share it with you!!

We shot in some beautiful locations and finished our last look in Time Square!! I have always wanted to shoot there because no where else in the world has such and amazing background. I am so happy to have had that opportunity!!

 This whole week has been hot and humid with shoots scheduled every day... The only way to get through that is drink plenty of water eat several small snacks and drink more water when you think you have had enough, drink some more. As a model, you always have to be prepared for whatever is thrown your direction and this week for me was heat!! So drink water, stay hydrated and show the world that.........Petite Girls Rock!!!!!

Life on the Road

I have been traveling since the 28th of June. Life on the road is going well with just a few small bumps. One of the bumps has been limited internet access which is why I haven't blogged in a while. Happy to report that I have internet now and can end that issue :)

 My first stop was Seattle and had an awesome trip out there I am looking forward to another trip out west in August!! Here is a shot from one of my shoots in the Seattle area

From Seattle I traveled to the NY/NJ area where I am currently working all month. As most of you know I spend time a bit of time out east every year. During my first week out here I have had the opportunity to work with several people and looking forward to many more awesome shoots. Just a couple of images that I have already gotten back from one of my shoots

These were taken at a state park in south Jersey. An area that I always have loved with the ocean and dunes. Always a great location for a summer casual shoot. I have a lot of exciting things scheduled over the next few weeks before I will be returning to Chicago in August!! Keeping it going strong at home and on the road because.......Petite Girls Rock!!!!!!
