Summer is here!!!

Wow summer is here and I hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday weekend!! I had a busy one and a lot of things have been happening with me and modeling. This is the season of new and I have a lot of new things happen over the weekend!! I am working with Jim Jurica on his new Workshop!! I had a new feature come out on Glammodelz and a new partnership as one of The Model Closet Girls. I am very excited about all of these new opportunities and can't thank everyone involved enough. I am excited because more and more people connected with the modeling industry are providing opportunities based on abilities and not height. AWESOME news for all of us petite girls.  It is truly an exciting time because.....Petite Girls Rock!!!!

Happy Memorial Day

Wow the beginning of summer and for me it is taking of quickly!! It started at the Onion Crunch booth at the American Restaurant show (thanks again Bella Petite for setting that up).  I than quickly move to  my 30th shoot with Jim Jurica where we worked on content for his lighting workshop book!! (Info at www.jimjurica.com)  Today I was able to kick off the holiday weekend co-hosting the Scott Alan Radio Show on AM 1530 in Chicago!! It was awesome that so many people called in!! I hope to be on again in the very near future!!!!

 While you are enjoying your BBQ's and Party's, Let's also remember all the soldiers that are serving and have served our great country who have died or been injured protecting our freedom and keeping us safe. Weekend Recap

The weekend has come and gone and a lot has been happening!! First of all I want to share with you that my first short film “Really” went well. It was a lot of fun and something very new for me. I can’t wait to get the clip to share it with you. The scene I was in starts the film and it is about a singer that really doesn’t have a lot of talent. It is a comedy and I think it should be very entertaining.

I also had the privilege of working with Gregory Scott an artist from Chicago that incorporates video and artwork together. His work is really and fun and I am privileged to be working with him on his newest piece. You can see his work at  www.gregoryscottimages.com


Both of my experiences we're awesome and I hope they expand my future opportunities. I am finding that in these areas, height isn’t an issue. It is the look and personality you can convey.. I guess they understand that Petite girls Rock!!!

The end of the week…the beginning of Big things!!!

Wow another week has come and gone for the most part but for me It is just the start. This weekend I am excited to be a part of my first short film.. “Really”!! It we will be filming Friday morning in Chicago. I can’t wait to work on this and to be able to share my experience with you. I feel excited , blessed and thankful for this and all the opportunities I have had and continue to have!! Who knows where the next big thing will be. Keep strong, positive and follow your dreams because……………Petite Girls Rock!!!!

Staying positive and moving forward

In life there are many ups and downs, the trick is to not get stuck in the down. I know that is easier said than done but if you can do it life sails along much more smoothly. I was fortunate in high school to work with a life coach. ( I recommend it to everyone) During that time I learned some very valuable lessons and strategies that carry me through all of life’s ups and downs.
The first thing I learned was that I am only in control of me. My actions, thoughts and aspirations and success. I can only effect myself, but by doing so, I will effect how others react to me. What you tell yourself is what will be true. I have found that this statement is absolutely true. When looking at this in terms of my career choice (modeling) I see it working daily. How I feel about myself comes across in my images but more importantly it comes across to people that I interact with.. I know that what is for the greatest and highest good will happen. It is happening and I know it will continue to happen. So any perceived detriments you think you might have disappear because you know the right opportunities and people will be brought into your life. It is exciting to see this play out and so very thankful to have learned this so young.
Move forward, think positive and remember Petite Girls Rock!!!

The Calm before the Storm!!

The calm is quickly ending and a flurry of activity is getting ready to start!!! For me this is welcome. a little rest before entering a busy time is always great to get things ready!! This coming week I will be working on my first film project !! I feel so fortunate to continue to add diversification to my career . More to come very soon!! Look within yourself and make you plan based on your desires and know with every perceived detriment is potential of learning expanding and conquering. Enjoy your path I know I am loving mine and remind myself everyday how blessed I am to have learned such valuable lessons early!! Keep marching forward and remember Petite Girls Rock!!!!!

The Start of a new week

What a busy weekend both for work and personally. I always feel blessed to be able to spend time working at a career I LOVE and be able to spend time with my family.During some relaxation time last night I came across some information on Bella Petite I think just reconfirms my goals with this blog so I want to share this with you and encourage everyone to support the efforts!! Wow What a weekend!!

Wow this weekend is crazy!! I had an awesome shoot yesterday for GlamModelz Magazine Can't wait to post the links when it runs. Thanks to the awesome team of Jim Jurica and Maya!!!! I am sure we hit it out of the park!! This morning I was up early for a Sunrise Swimsuit shoot!! It was beautiful when the sun came up through the clouds. I have to say I don't frequently get to see that but nothing is prettier when you hit it right and I think we did this morning!! Very happy to be kept busy in an industry I love!! Have an awesome saturday and remember Petite Girls ROCK!!!

Breaking Through

As a petite model it is sometimes hard to secure work with designers as most of them have a height requirement that excludes petites. Recently I have had the opportunity to work with open minded companies and I want to send them out a big "Your Rock" for not being closed minded. Thank you West Coast Leather and Hot Miami Styles. I am also in a competition to be The Face of Variani. Help me win this so that they too can have a petite representing them. I know the company is open minded as well and wouldn't it be awesome!! One by one we will get more and more companies to recognize that we are the majority and it makes good business sense to design with the Petite women in mind!!
